I (Steve) was born and bred in Barrow-in-Furness.  I have always had a love of the Lake District which is a passion I have shared with my wife, Rupindar and two sons.  Swangs Cottage is our lakeland home, a delightful retreat from the hectic lives we live and an excellent base to explore everything that the Lake District and Cumbria has to offer.  

We purchased Swangs in Autumn 2008 and have spent significant time getting it to the current standard, adding lots of personal touches. We’d like to share our historic character lakeland farmhouse with others and let you experience and enjoy the wonderful landscape on its doorstep.
